Terms of Service

1. What ClipFlint does
ClipFlint lets you download publicly available videos for personal use, transcribe recordings, extract slide frames, and generate written content from transcripts. Some features are free with daily limits; others cost credits ("Sparks").
2. Your account and code
Your email address is your account and your personal code (FLINT-...) is the key to it. Keep the code private: anyone holding it can spend its Sparks. Lost codes can be resent to the email they belong to. We may close accounts that abuse the service.
3. Sparks, payment and refunds
A Spark is a prepaid credit. One Spark buys one job: one full transcript, one slide extraction, or one content pack. Re-running the exact same job on the same recording is free. Sparks never expire and there is no subscription; nothing renews automatically.
Payments are processed by Stripe and every purchase receives an invoice by email. Because Sparks are digital content delivered immediately, you agree that delivery starts at once and that the EU 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies to Sparks you have already spent. Unspent Sparks from a purchase made in the last 14 days are refunded on request via the contact page. If something on our side failed and a Spark was wrongly charged, we restore it, always.
4. Your responsibilities
Only process videos you have the right to use. Downloads are for personal use; public visibility of a video is not permission to republish it. Copyright protects the way something is expressed, not facts or ideas: using a transcript to inform content you create in your own words is what ClipFlint is built for, republishing someone else's footage or verbatim script is not. You remain fully responsible for what you download, create and publish.
Do not use ClipFlint to infringe copyright, harass anyone, process unlawful content, overload the service, or resell access. Daily limits and fair-use caps protect the service for everyone.
5. Content owners
We do not host or index third-party videos; files are processed on request and deleted right after. If you believe the service is being used to infringe your rights, contact us and we will act promptly, including blocking sources where appropriate.
6. Availability and liability
We aim for the service to be fast and reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability; source platforms change constantly and a particular video may not be retrievable. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above always shows the current version. Material changes are announced on the site. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
